OCA-YP is proud to support a book signing event at 7 p.m. on January 17th, 2007 at Politics & Prose Bookstore in DC.  For those of who doesn't know Pauline Chen, she wrote a book about her experiences as a young Taiwanese-American physician and how caring for dying patients changed her.  Her new book, called "Final Exam: A Surgeons Reflections on Mortality," addresses her ideas for better care for terminally ill patients and end-of-life (palliative) patient care.  This book is written full with passion, received a rave review from The New York Times, and earned tremendous respect in the medicine field.  Don't miss this opportunity to meet her in person and show support for her extraordinary achievements.
